Summer Intensive Research Program

This summer intensive research program offers students the opportunity to work intensively on a group-based Research Program during a 2-week period. During this time, students will participate in all 6 Faculty Advisor meetings and 4 out of 6 Teaching Assistant meetings. Additionally, students are required to complete 1 TA meeting before and 1 TA meeting after the intensive period. This pre-and-post program structure aims to prepare students for the intensive period and provide guidance on final paper/project drafts and publications.

 

Target Students: 9-12th graders


Program Details

✓ 6 Faculty Advisor group meetings

✓ 3 recorded research method and citation courses

✓ 6 meetings 1-on-1 with a teaching assistant

✓ Daily office hours and Study Hall during intensive period

✓ Daily progress tracking from Progress Manager during intensive period

✓ Thesis writing, revisions, and publication guidance

Program Structure:

  • Subject lectures and methodology courses

  • Individual project topic discussion and selection

  • Thesis outline completion

  • Professor feedback on project outline

  • Research project or paper draft completion

  • Draft review, feedback, and revisions 

  • Project completion with feedback and advice for publication submission
